Fishing boat, Port Isaac, Cornwall.
The fishing boat 'Free Spirit II', returning home to Port Isaac, Cornwall, U.K.
Port Isaac has been a working fishing village since the early C.14th, and at one time relied heavily on catching and processing pilchards.
The number of boats in the port has decreased by two thirds in the last 24 years, and the few that remain mainly catch crab and lobster.
Tourism continues to play an increasingly important role in its economy, and the fishing activity is still one of its major attractions.
