The Karen, Thai-Burma border, 2004
Inhabitants from Lep Per Her continue to fish for anything edible in the Moei river to supplement their diet of rice, even though the water is polluted and undrinkable.
The river forms the border between Burma and Thailand and the SPDC (Burmese military) are situated just over the hill to the top right of the picture.
