The plaque commemorates the men who have lost their lives at sea around the coast of Newlyn, most of whom have no known grave.
Even with modern boats and equipment, crews still have to work gruelling shifts in perilous conditions, making the job of a deep-sea fisherman one of the most dangerous professions in the world.
